The Iowa Learning Series supports the work being done throughout the state to implement CCISC to develop more integrated systems and services for Iowans with multi-occurring conditions. This work is a partnership between IDPH, IDHS/MHDS, Megellan, IAMHR and other Adovcates, People with Lived-Experience, frontline clinicians and other staff, and provider agencies. The partnership is represented on the statewide change agent team called: ICORN (Iowa Co-occurring Recovery Network). The Iowa Learning Series helps improve services and supports for people with complex issues and lives, including multi-occurring conditions regarding mental health, substance use, intellectual disabilities, brain injuries, health, and the myriad issues related to social wellbeing.
