File Repository

:
Got a lot of files your users can download? Create a subdirectory using Front Page Settings/Site files and load your files into it. Then create a directory resource on the landing page (under your site title and description in the middle column).

Blocks

:
Not sure whether you want to delete a block? Until you make up your mind, use the Hide icon (available in editing mode) so only admins can see the block.

Course Wizard

:
If you’re not sure how many lessons you’ll need for a course, enter a higher number instead of a lower number. It’s easier to delete extra pages than to add new ones!

Breadcrumbs

:
The "short name" of your EasyCampus appears at the start of the breadcrumbs along the top of the page. Change it to something easy for EasyCampus users to understand, for example, Campus Home.

Landing Page Blocks

:
Don't want people to see it unless they are logged in? Put it in an HTML block and then, in editing mode, click Assign Roles. Click the Override Permissions tab and then click Guest and set the permission to Prohibit.

Admin Emails

:
Tired of getting all those emails? Consider creating a single default Campus Admin account with a special email address you set up (for example, info@mywebsite.com). Give all Campus Admins the login credentials and make sure someone occasional reviews the emails.

Keep Track

:
How many users or how much disk space are you using? Click My Account/View Account Information on the menu at the top of the page. This is also available on the Site Administration menu.

Mass Email

:
A shortcut to sending mass emails: add a Roster block. Click Roster and then use the With selected users dropdown to send all or selected users an email.

Videos

:
Large videos? Consider converting them to Flash. Flash videos can dramatically reduce file size. Also, most of your users will not have any trouble playing them.

Files

:
Lots of files? If you want to save time uploading multiple files, you can use WinZIP or WinRAR to compress them into an archive file. Once uploaded, these archive files can be unpacked directly into your EasyCampus.
