The frequency of seizures and the complexity of refractory seizures, multiple seizure types, polypharmacy, toxicities, co-morbid behavior and cognitive challenges and poor documentation make the evaluation and treatment approaches frequently inadequately managed. This creates lowered quality of life, reduced ability to perform ADL's.
